       The name "localtreehouse" came from a longing to create a space of belonging for myself and other artists, much like a neighborhood treehouse. I have a passion for supporting the arts and artists themselves, and I place my faith in the center of what I do. I love doing art of people, as it best captures the beauty we see everyday in our friends, our families, and ourselves.

     I love sharing my art with others, through my store or through my commissions. I think often about the times I've spent at conventions or events, getting to interact directly with the lovely people who support me. Knowing that my art can bring a smile to even just one person's face means the world to me, and it keeps me motivated to continue doing what I do. I've loved engaging in fellowship and community with artists and people from all over the world. 

       Lastly, I want to be a friend to all. I want to manifest a safe space wherever I go and wherever my art goes. While I am just another small artist on the internet, I believe art brings people to community, leaving no one behind. I hope to create a space where people can feel seen and loved :)
